Avalanche observations are detailed records of avalanche occurrences as described in OGRS (2007) section 3. As in the past, the InfoEx supports both the entry of single and multiple events into a single record.
Mandatory fields
Mandatory field are highlighted with a red outline and label. Incorrectly completed mandatory field will result in a validation error on submission.

Special functionality
In addition to associating avalanche observations with a predefined location from your location catalog, it is also possible to drop a pin on a Google Earth map to indicate where exactly the the avalanche occurred.
