This document describes the general reporting functionality of the InfoEx application. Detailed descriptions of how to customize InfoEx reports are included in separate documents that are linked at the bottom of this page.

Background

The report functionality is the central piece of the InfoEx application. It is this part of the application that allows subscribers to exchange important avalanche safety observations and assessments. In comparison to the old InfoEx system that only produced a single report, the new system allows subscribers to fully customize their report to better fit their information needs and allow them to absorb the information in an efficient manner. In addition, the new application also provides a map view and a chart view of the InfoEx data to visualize the available data.

InfoEx reports can be accessed by clicking on the 'REPORTS' menu in the top left corner of the application. When you log into the application, the reports section automatically opens and the default report CAA and CAC Messages is loaded.

Tabular view

The tabular is the default view of the InfoEx report and it is the first page that loads when you log into the InfoEx application
