This document describes how to reset or change the password for your personal InfoEx account.
Step-by-step description
1. | Visit http://infoex.avalanche.ca: and click on the 'Forgot password' link on the login page. |
2. | Your will be redirected to http://www.avalanche.ca:615/index.html#/forgot of the CAA user administration system. |
3. | Enter your existing username/email address into the text field and click on Reset Password. |
4. | Check your inbox for an email from the Canadian Avalanche Association (admin@avalanche.ca) with the subject line 'Canadian Avalanche Association: Password Reset Request'. |
5. | Click on the link provided to you in this email. You will then be directed to a webpage on the CAA user administration system for resetting your password. The field 'Reset code' will automatically be prefilled with a unique identification code that has been created for you for this transaction. |
6. | Enter your new password both into the 'Password' and the 'Password Confirmation' fields. |
7. | Click on Verify to submit your new password. You will immediately get a confirmation messages in the browser window saying that your password has been reset. In addition, you will receive a confirmation message by email. |
