- Open Google Chrome
- Type 'chrome://plugins/' into the address bar of Google Chrome
- Find the plug in 'Google Update' in the list
- Click on the 'Disable' hyperlink to disable this plugin. After you clicked the hyperlink, the row will go grey and the hyperlink will change to 'Enable'.
- Restart your Chrome browser for changes to take effect.
